International Desk, 26th February: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently delved into the art of sword-making under the tutelage of Japanese sword master Akihira Kokaji. Sharing his experience on February 24, Zuckerberg posted a series of images and videos capturing his interaction with the renowned swordsmith.
In one post, Zuckerberg posed alongside the sword master, showcasing his interest in the traditional craft. Another image depicted Zuckerberg actively engaged in the sword-making process under Kokaji’s guidance. Additionally, he shared a video demonstrating his proficiency with the katana—a revered Japanese sword celebrated for its sharpness.
Expressing his gratitude to Kokaji, Zuckerberg captioned his post, “Really special afternoon learning about making katanas with master akihira.kokaji — thank you for sharing your craft with us!”
The video swiftly captured the attention of internet users, eliciting a wave of enthusiastic comments. Some users inquired whether Zuckerberg would keep the katana he had crafted, while others playfully suggested that he was on the path to becoming a true ninja, mastering both hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship.
Amidst the admiration for Zuckerberg’s newfound skills, one user humorously remarked, “Mans really doing every side quest,” alluding to Zuckerberg’s diverse interests beyond his role as a successful entrepreneur.
