Shillong: The Meghalaya Football Association (MFA) has officially announced the schedule for the Inter-District Transfer 2025 for football players, set to begin from April 28.
According to MFA General Secretary Sunesh Syiem, transfer forms in triplicate will be available at the MFA office located at the JN Stadium, Polo, Shillong, between 3 PM to 5 PM, from April 28 to May 10 (excluding Sundays). Each set of forms will cost Rs 100.
Players and clubs are advised to follow these steps:
• Pink form: Submit to the MFA office.
• White form: To be retained by the district association.
• Yellow form: To be retained by the club.
• Player’s photograph is mandatory on the forms; otherwise, the application will be rejected.
To complete the transfer process, players must personally sign the register at the MFA office and pay a transfer fee of Rs 1,000 between May 12 and 17, during the same time slot (3 PM to 5 PM).
Once a player signs the register, the transfer will be considered final, and the MFA will circulate the official list of player transfers to all affiliated district associations thereafter.
