Minor Boy Beaten to Death For Playing Mobile Games in Assam’s Cachar
Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a young child was allegedly beaten to death on Wednesday for using a mobile phone in the Cachar district of Assam.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Jarailtola area of Borkhola. A 13-year-old boy Panna Nath was playing video games on his phone at a neighbor’s house when the accused Deepak Nath urged him to stop. But later both began to argue which caused the situation to worsen.
The family of the deceased claimed that Deepak chased Panna and brutally assaulted him.
Reportedly, Panna’s mother arrived on the scene and took him in severe condition to Borkhola hospital for treatment.
The hospital authorities after checking his condition referred him to Silchal Medical College and Hospital (SMCH) for better treatment.
Unfortunately, after reaching SMCH the doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, the father of the deceased lodged a complaint against Deepak Nath at Borkhala Police Station for allegedly killing his child.
The police have initiated a probe into the matter.
