Guwahati: A 14-year-old minor was allegedly “thrashed” to dead by unidentified person(s) in Guwahati’s Kharguli area.
The deceased was identified as Dimpal Kumapati of the same area. The incident reportedly took place early in the morning of Wednesday and the girl during the time of the incident was alone. No one has yet made any statement on who might be the culprit behind the killing.
As of now, the police have initiated an investigation in connection with the case. In the initial investigation, the police team said that the girl was allegedly “beaten” with a pressure cooker lid and a grinding stone. There are no suspects in connection with the case yet but the police have assured that soon the “culprit” will be arrested.
