Guwahati: A 7-year-old minor was allegedly “thrashed” to death and thrown into the toilet by unidentified person(s) in Kaliabor, Nagaon District.
The deceased was identified as Rupali Ravidas, a resident of Bamuni Gaon. The body of the victim has been recovered from the premises of the “Bajrang Cresar” stone-breaking quarry near her house.
Locals suspected that the victim was hit on the head with a stone.
As of now, the police have initiated an investigation in connection with the case. There are no suspects in connection with the case yet but the police have assured that soon the “culprit” will be arrested.
