Guwahati: In yet another case of robbery, unidentified miscreants allegedly looted ornaments off a woman by displaying a gun in Guwahati of Assam on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Rita Kalita.
According to reports, Kalita is a teacher.
The incident took place in front of the commissioner’s office. She was en route to drop off her child at school.
The miscreants snatched the gold chain that she was wearing on her neck.
The Dispur Police has launched search operations; however, they have not received any clue of the miscreants.
