Northeast Desk, 11th July: The auditions for Miss Meghalaya and Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024 held at Hotel Vivanta, Khyndailad, witnessed an impressive turnout with over 40 contestants displaying their talents and aspirations for the coveted titles.
Organized by the Miss Meghalaya Organisation, the event promises an illustrious platform for the winners. The winner of Miss Meghalaya 2024 will be crowned as Miss Universe Meghalaya and will earn a direct entry into the prestigious Miss Universe India 2024 competition. The first and second runners-up will represent Meghalaya in Miss Northeast 2024, scheduled to be hosted in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
For Miss Teen Meghalaya 2024, the winner secures a direct entry to the esteemed Miss Teen Diva 2025 contest set to take place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, underscoring the pageant’s commitment to nurturing young talent.
“This event marks a significant milestone for beauty and talent in Meghalaya, offering our contestants a chance to shine on national stages,” remarked a spokesperson from the Miss Meghalaya Organisation. Notably, Miss Meghalaya is the first beauty pageant in the state to offer its winner a direct path to the Miss Universe India finals, enhancing the platform’s prestige and significance.
The culmination of this exciting journey will unfold at the Grand Finale scheduled for August 3, 2024, at the LARITI Multipurpose Hall, promising an evening of glamour, talent, and celebration of beauty.
