Guwahati: The student of Cotton University who had gone missing on Thursday has been traced.
The Government Railway Police (GRP) on Friday successfully saved the student Surya Narayan Das from the Mariani Railway Station.
The student has been turned over to the Latasil Police by the GRP.
It should be noted that Surya, a Cotton University first-year Higher Secondary student went missing on Thursday night.
According to reports, Surya was a resident of Dhemaji district.
Reportedly, he had left his hostel, Maffizzudin Ahmed Hazarika Chatra Nivas and was on his way back when he allegedly went missing.
The police have begun their search efforts after the student’s family filed a missing complaint at the Latasil Police Station.
