Missing HS Student From Assam Turns Up At Delhi

Guwahati: A higher secondary student from Assam, who had had been missing for a few days was found on Thursday in Delhi.

The missing student was identified as Tridip Kalita.

According to reports, Kalita, who had been missing for a few days, turned up today at a police station in Delhi.

Two luggages that belonged to the student were found in Guwahati under the Khanapara flyover after he had vanished.

Tridip Kalita attended Ramanujan Junior College as a higher secondary student in Nagaon of Assam. Kalita, a native of Mangaldoi, vanished as he was making his way to the college from his house.

He had last talked to his family members on Saturday, January 28 over a phone call, after which his mobile phone was reportedly switched off. He personally showed up at a Delhi police station earlier today.

So far, it is unclear how he got from Guwahati to Delhi or if there was a kidnapping. Police are awaiting a response from Kalita before opening an investigation into the incident.
