Mizoram: Assam Rifles Supports Aizawl Orphanage in Establishing a ‘Smart Class’ for Community Benefit

Northeast Desk, 21st November: Assam Rifles played a pivotal role on November 19 in transforming education by contributing to the enhancement of Thalai Hmasawn Pawl Orphanage Centre Mission in Aizawl city. The orphanage, situated in a remote area of the northeastern states, lacked fundamental teaching infrastructure, prompting its authorities to seek assistance from Assam Rifles to establish a ‘smart class’ for community use.

Upon the implementation of these smart classes, residents, including children, will have access to modernized educational methods. This initiative is expected to foster improved understanding, conceptualization, and academic success among the local population.

The primary objective behind this event was to cultivate trust between the community and security forces. The authorities of Thalai Hmasawn Pawl Orphanage expressed gratitude for the efforts made by Assam Rifles, acknowledging their role in providing essential aid for the betterment of education in the region.
