Mizoram BJP Welcomes 80 New Members, Emphasises ‘Nation First’ Ethos

Aizawl: The Mizoram Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today saw a significant expansion of its ranks, as 80 new members were formally inducted at the party’s Atal Bhavan office. The welcoming session, presided over by Dr. K. Beichhua, MLA and State President, underscored the party’s commitment to national service and inclusive development.

Addressing the new entrants, Dr. Beichhua expressed his delight, stating, “We are pleased to welcome over 80 new members into the BJP who have chosen to serve the nation through this platform. It is a matter of great pride, and it is important for every BJP member to understand that BJP gives utmost importance to national service, and that is guided by the motto ‘Nation First, Party Second, Self Last’.” He further highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, asserting that India continues to progress with clear vision and integrity, with leaders ensuring respect for every community and language, thereby steering India towards becoming a great nation.

Dr. Beichhua concluded his address with a direct appeal to the youth of Mizoram, urging them to join the BJP for the state’s development. “If BJP forms the government, we can solve the problems of employment and lack of opportunity. There are many vacancies in police and other departments. Only if BJP comes to power can these be filled fairly,” he affirmed. He stressed the party’s dedication to creating a future for the youth and uplifting the underprivileged, reiterating, “BJP believes that development is both our mission and our purpose. So, we urge the youth and people of Mizoram to join BJP and work together for the betterment of the state.”

The newly inducted members, too, shared their motivations for joining the saffron party. They cited the BJP’s strong and reliable leadership, its commitment to addressing public sufferings, the visible development across various sectors, and the availability of robust social security under BJP governance as key factors influencing their decision. They collectively expressed confidence that under the BJP, development is not merely a promise but a tangible reality.
