Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma Vows Inclusive Governance, Urges Peaceful Christmas Celebration
Northeast Desk, 25th December: Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma extended warm Christmas greetings to the people of the state and emphasized his commitment to ensuring an inclusive government. He urged residents to celebrate Christmas, fostering an atmosphere of peace and brotherhood in society.
Chief Minister Lalduhoma highlighted the government’s significant efforts to combat the menace of drugs, underscoring the importance of collective action against this issue.
As Mizoram prepares for Christmas, churches, schools, and markets are adorned with vibrant decorations, creating a festive ambiance in the Christian-majority state. Monday is slated for prayer and worship services in churches and designated ‘Christmas halls’ across the region.
In light of the festive season, the state government has heightened security measures and imposed a ban on firecrackers to ensure a safe and joyful Christmas and New Year celebration for the residents.
