Guwahati: Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga launched a bus service from Aizwal to Tripura on Monday in an effort to boost connectivity with neighbouring states.
According to reports, a unity bus service will run between Aizawl and Behliangchhip town in Tripura’s North district’s Jampui Hills.
It would be available from Aizawl on Mondays and Thursdays, and from Behlianchhip on Tuesdays and Fridays.
According to the chief minister, the state administration has taken many initiatives to create positive relationships with its neighbouring states and countries.
Officials noted that efforts are also being made to start transport services between Aizawl and Churachanpur in Manipur and Tahan in Myanmar.
