Northeast Desk, 12th September: In a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, President Droupadi Murmu presented the National Florence Nightingale Award 2024 to H. Mankimi, a dedicated nurse from Mizoram. This award recognizes Mankimi’s exceptional contributions to the nursing profession and honors the legacy of Florence Nightingale.
Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma expressed pride and congratulations, highlighting Mankimi’s achievement as a testament to her dedication and hard work. The National Florence Nightingale Awards, established by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, aim to recognize and celebrate the extraordinary services provided by nursing professionals across India.
The 2024 award ceremony honored nursing professionals in three categories: ANM, LHV, and Nurse, setting benchmarks for quality nursing care nationwide. Mankimi’s award is a testament to her commitment to excellence in nursing and an inspiration to others in the profession.
