Northeast Desk, 26th January: On the occasion of the 75th Republic Day, personnel of the Mizoram Police received prestigious Police Medals in various categories. The President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service for Meritorious Service (Republic Day, 2023) was awarded to R. Vanlalduata, Assistant CO, 1 Bn MAP.
Additionally, the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (Republic Day, 2023) was conferred upon the following personnel:
i) Lalhuliana Fanai, IPS, DIGP CID, Mizoram
ii) H. Lalduata, MPS, DySP, Security.
iii) R. Lalrumliana, ADM/Inspector, 2nd Bn MAP
The Independence Day 2023 President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service and Police Medal for Meritorious Service were also presented. C. Lalnunmawia, MPS, DIG(Armed), received the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (Independence Day, 2023). Meanwhile, the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (Independence Day, 2023) was awarded to Vanlalfaka Ralte, MPS, Sr. SP CID(SB), and Inprs. Deepak Pathak, Officer-in-Charge, Aizawl PS.
For Republic Day 2024, the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service was awarded to C. Lalzahngoa, MPS, Secretary, Fisheries Department, and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (Republic Day, 2024) was presented to Rex Zarzoliana Vanchhawng, Sr. SP, Aizawl, Zokunga Hauzel, Inspector (Record Officer), and C.D. Lalhmingmawii, Sub Inspector.
Governor’s Gold Medals were awarded to eight personnel, including Inspr. C. Malsawmdawngi, Inspr. R. Lalsangzuala, ASI Lalhmunsanga, Hav. H. Lalthangmawia, Hav. Lalthansanga, Hony. Head Constable K. Lawmkima, and Constable W/C 84 Laltlanmawii. Meanwhile, Governor’s Silver Medals were presented to seven personnel, including Inspr. F. Manhleia, Inspr. R. Lalbiakliana, Inspr. MS. Dawngliana, SI Narendra Kr. Basnet, SI H. Lallungtiawia, Hav. R. Lalremruata, and C/5 R. Dawngliana.
