Northeast Desk, 27th October: BJP President JP Nadda is set to unveil the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Mizoram assembly elections on October 27 in Aizawl.
Nadda is scheduled to arrive at Lengpui Airport, Mizoram at 3:00 pm, where he will receive a warm welcome from senior BJP officials and party members.
He will then launch the BJP’s Sankalp Patra (Manifesto) at Hotel Regency in Aizawl at 4:00 pm.
Later in the evening, at 6:00 pm, the National President will meet with Mizoram People Forum (MPF) President Rev. Dr. C. Chawnghmingliana.
Subsequently, at 6:40 pm, he will have a meeting with Bishop Stephen Rotluanga.
At 7:10 pm, he will interact with leaders of the Bru community, and at 7:30 pm, he will engage with leaders of the Central Young Mizo Association.
At 7:50 pm, Nadda will chair a crucial meeting with the State Election Committee and State Office Bearers, all of which will take place at Hotel Regency, Aizawl.
On the following day, October 28, 2023, the National President is scheduled to address a public rally in Tuichawng at 10:45 am.
Prior to this event, he will receive a traditional grand welcome at Chawngte helipad in Tuichawng.
