Mizoram polls 2023: Priyanka Gandhi’s campaign trip to state cancelled

Northeast Desk, 2nd November: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s scheduled day-long campaign in poll-bound Mizoram, which was planned for Friday, has been canceled due to unavoidable reasons, as confirmed by Congress officials.

The cancellation was announced by a Congress spokesman, and the party expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, who is the All India Congress Committee general secretary and in charge of Uttar Pradesh, had planned to address a small gathering at Treasury Square and hold a public meeting in Kawrtethawveng, Mamit district.

The Congress is contesting all 40 seats in the upcoming elections, and it currently holds four seats in the outgoing assembly.
