Northeast Desk, 7th December: The First Session of the Ninth Legislative Assembly in Mizoram is set to commence on December 12, 2023, at 10:30 AM, according to a notification issued by the Government of Mizoram.
The session aims to address crucial issues and establish the legislative agenda for the state.
The Parliamentary Affairs Department released an official statement, urging Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Secretaries, and Heads of Departments to actively participate in the Assembly Session. The Legislative Assembly House in Aizawl, Mizoram, has been designated as the venue for this significant event.
To ensure smooth proceedings, officials are requested to occupy their seats in the respective official lobbies and galleries at least five minutes before the scheduled start time. Recognizing the importance of systematic coordination, the government recommends the creation of duty rosters for officers in each Department and Directorate.
The notification emphasizes that all officials attending the Assembly Sessions must carry their respective Identity Cards for identification purposes.
