The Mizoram Government on Friday announced that they will not withdraw their forces from the Assam-Mizoram border. The Mizoram agitators have block the National Highway 306 and refused to call of the blockade, the main aspects of the Mizo agitators is that Assam should withdraw its forces from Southern Assam.
With this new development it is sure that the tensions near Assam-Mizoram will escalate more.
