Guwahati, 22nd January: A massive fire broke out at a school in Lungchhuan Village of Mizoram’s Serchhip District on theevening of January 21.
The school which was operated by Lungchhuan Presbyterian Church, was completely gutted by the flames.
The exact cause behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.
The incident reportedly occurred during a church service, and the relatively new school building, in use for only five years, suffered extensive damage.
Lungchhuan Village is located in the East Lungdar sub-division of Serchhip district.
