Mizoram: Three Inmates Escape from Aizawl Central Women Jail; Authorities Launch Investigation
Northeast Desk, 30th November: In an incident raising concerns about security, three inmates identified as Lalchhanmawii, Lalruatsangi, and Niengboi escaped from the Central Women Jail in Aizawl during the early hours of November 30. The escapees, all incarcerated for drug-related crimes, reportedly climbed the jail wall wrapped in garments and blankets between 1 or 2 a.m.
