Mizoram: ZPM’s Lok Sabha candidate shares campaign insights
Northeast Desk, 15th April: Richard Vanlalhmangaiha, the Lok Sabha candidate for ZPM, has provided insights into his recent election campaign endeavors. He embarked on his campaign trail on April 2nd and returned yesterday, covering the entirety of Mizoram within a span of two weeks.
During his journey, he engaged with a diverse array of constituents, including villagers, farmers, government officials, and various community members. Vanlalhmangaiha reports a strong wave of support for ZPM across the region, expressing optimism about the party’s prospects in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting the electoral landscape, he emphasizes that ZPM is contesting independently without forming any coalitions. The political spectrum sees participation from multiple parties, including MNF, Congress, PC, BJP, and one independent candidate.
Vanlalhmangaiha underscores key areas for development within Mizoram, noting the need for bolstering industries in agriculture, implementing reforms in education, advancing railway infrastructure, and fostering growth in the tourism sector. He also advocates for creating new opportunities in sports and entrepreneurship to empower the youth.
