Sikkim: In a significant political development, MK Subba, the former election candidate and chief spokesperson for the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) in the Rangang-Yangang constituency, has formally announced his resignation from the party. Subba’s departure marks the end of his longstanding involvement with the SDF.
In a letter addressed to the SDF leadership, Subba confirmed his resignation from primary membership and declared his complete dissociation from the party. “I, MK Subba, resident of Niya under 15 – Rangang Yangang Constituency, South Sikkim, hereby submit my resignation from the primary membership and formally disassociate myself from the Sikkim Democratic Front (SDF) effective immediately,” he stated. Subba also expressed appreciation to the party’s president and leadership for the roles and opportunities provided to him over the years, ending his message with best wishes for the SDF’s future.
Notably, Subba’s resignation letter did not disclose any specific reasons behind his decision to step down, leaving room for speculation regarding his motives and future political direction.
