Mob sets car on fire after woman dies in accident in Assam’s Baksa
Guwahati: A vehicle was set on fire by an irate mob in Baksa district of Assam after a newlywed woman was killed in an accident.
According to reports, the couple was on their way to the market in their car when they collided in an accident.
An automobile was coming from the other side when they collided head-on.
The woman identified as Kanika Boro of the Randhonipara area was killed instantly during the incident, and her husband is still battling for his life in the hospital.
Following the incident, a mob comprising locals vandalised the other car and set it on fire.
The car’s occupants fled from the scene.
