Guwahati, 20th January: In a significant development, Government Railway Police (GRP) conducted routine checking on train no. 15960 Kamrup Express DN at Guwahati Railway Station and apprehended a mobile thief.
The individual, identified as Md Muktar Sk from West Bengal, was taken into custody.
During the operation, a total of 21 stolen mobile phones were recovered from Md Muktar Sk’s possession.
Following the apprehension, a case has been registered, and legal proceedings have been initiated against the accused.
The authorities are actively addressing the incident to ensure appropriate action and return of the stolen property to the rightful owners.
