COVID-19 Vaccine manufacturer Moderna said that it will charge between Rs 1,850 to Rs 2,750 per dose for their shot. The Chief Executive of the firm Stephane Bancel said “Our vaccine therefore costs about the same as a flu shot, which is between $10 and $50,” he was quoted as saying.”
According to reports the European Union (EU) wanted to sign a deal with Moderna regarding the Vaccine but nothing has been finalised yet. Indian Government has also been in talks with the firm as India would need masses of vaccine shots to serve the 1.3 Billion population.
