Guwahati: Prahlad Modi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother, was involved in an road accident near Mysuru in Karnataka on December 27.
The crash reportedly occurred at 2 pm on the Mysuru-Nanjangud highway.
All of the passengers in Prahlad Modi’s Mercedes Benz car, including his wife, son, daughter-in-law and grandson suffered minor injuries and had to be taken right away to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities stepped up security around the hospital after the incident.
The collision caused significant damage to the vehicle. His grandson, on the other hand, is said to have fractured his leg.
All have been admitted to Mysuru’s Jaypee Hospital for better treatment.
