Mumbai Indians thrash Delhi Capitals by 57 runs to reach IPL Finals

Clinical Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 57 runs in Qualifier 1 to reach the final of Dream 11 IPL 2020. Winning the toss the Shreyas Iyer led side decided to field first but dominant Mumbai Indians batsmen helped the team to score 200 runs in 20 overs.

From Mumbai, Suryakumar Yadav (51 off 38 balls) laid the platform on which Ishan Kishan (55 not out) and Hardik Pandya (37 no off 14 balls). For Delhi Capitals spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took 3 wickets in his 4 overs quota. Chasing a target of 201, Delhi were in trouble initially as they lost first 3 wickets for no run. Losing the quick wickets the Delhi Capitals could not make a comeback and scored just 43 runs in their 20 overs quota and lost the match by 57 runs eventually.

With this win Mumbai Indians have qualified for the IPL finals and Delhi Capitals will play the second qualifier with the winner of Eliminator.
