Mumbai: Tragedy Strikes as Private Bank Employee Takes Life on Bandra-Worli Sea Link

National Desk, 12th November: In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old private bank employee, identified as Akash Singh from Parel in central Mumbai, allegedly ended his life by leaping off the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

The tragic event unfolded when, on Friday night, Singh, en route from Bandra-Kurla Complex to Parel in a taxi, diverted the driver to the Sea Link. While conversing on his phone, he abruptly claimed his mobile had fallen, prompting him to exit the vehicle and plunge into the sea. His lifeless body was recovered later that night.

Preliminary investigations suggest Singh, residing with his parents, had experienced a breakup with his girlfriend three months ago, adding a layer of complexity to this tragic loss. Authorities continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding this deeply saddening incident.
