Mumbai Woman Assaulted Allegedly By Men From Raj Thackeray

Guwahati: Members of Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) are accused of violently assaulting a woman in Mumbai.

Although the alleged assault took place on August 28, the video of the activists has now gone viral as a result of the woman’s August 31 complaint.

The woman, identified as Prakash Devi, objected to MNS workers led by Vinod Argile installing a pole for publicity boards.

The eighty second video demonstrated how Vinod beat Prakash Devi despite attempts to pull him away from him.

Prakash Devi protested to the MNS workers constructing bamboo poles in the Mumba Devi area and asked them not to do so in front of her pharmacy.

After the objection, she apparently experienced verbal harassment in addition to physical attack.

Three days after the incident, on August 31, a case was opened at the police station.

The woman’s medical examination has been completed, according to the police, and they will shortly take legal action against the accused.

However, the MNS party has not yet responded to this in any way.
