Guwahati: The death of a person in a rehabilitation centre in Charaideo district of Assam is shrouded in mystery.
The incident took place in Sonari of the district.
The deceased have been identified as Punaram Bailung alias Anil Bailung.
The allegations made by Punaram’s family members claim that the center’s authorities premeditated his murder.
The rehabilitation centre has also been the target of numerous additional allegations.
The victims allegedly receive inappropriate care and are also subjected to several atrocities upon the centre.
