Guwahati, 10th September: A somber incident unfolded in Bokul village, Assam’s Dibrugarh, during the early hours of Sunday, as the lifeless body of a young woman was discovered on the bypass road, alongside another injured individual.
Local authorities suspect that both may have been involved in a fatal road accident. The deceased young woman has been identified as Mehek Sharma, while the young man found unconscious near her has been identified as Aziz Ahmed.
Complicating matters further, an Innova vehicle was also recovered at the scene, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
Sources have indicated that the mother of the deceased woman has alleged foul play, adding an air of mystery to the situation.
Currently, the young man is under police custody as investigations are underway to unravel the true nature of this incident and to identify the victims.
