Nagaland: ADC Mangkolemba Issues Circular for Removal of Structures along Longnak-Mangkolemba Road for Upgradation

Northeast Desk, 30th April: T Lankosen Tsanglao, the ADC (Additional Deputy Commissioner) of Mangkolemba, has issued a circular to all concerned landowners regarding the removal of structures along the Longnak-Mangkolemba road stretch. This directive comes as part of the ongoing upgradation project for the road, located in Mokokchung, under the North East Special Infrastructure Development Scheme (NESIDS).

The circular specifically addresses landowners along the stretch of road from T.A Kubzar petrol pump in Mangkolemba to Mangko ward junction. It mandates the removal of any structures and properties within the Right of Way (ROW) to ensure the smooth progress of the road upgradation project. The deadline for compliance has been set for the 5th of May, 2024.

Emphasizing the necessity of clearing the designated ROW, the circular also highlights the importance of removing or relocating government utilities such as electric towers, poles, pipelines, or any other structures that may obstruct the construction process. It urges landowners and relevant authorities to adhere to these directives for the timely completion of the project.

The issuance of this circular underscores the commitment of local authorities to infrastructure development and signifies a crucial step towards enhancing connectivity and transportation infrastructure in the region.
