Northeast Desk, 9th October: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced by-elections for the 43-Tapi (ST) constituency to fill the vacancy following the unfortunate demise of MLA Noke Wangnao. The by-polls are scheduled to take place on November 7, 2023.

The ECI has ensured the use of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) machines in all polling stations for the by-election.
