Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio Highlights Infrastructure Concerns at NITI Aayog Meeting

Northeast Desk, 29th July: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio addressed several critical infrastructure issues affecting his state at the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting, aligning his concerns with the national vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’.

After attending the meeting at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rio shared his insights on social media, stating, “Attended @NITIAayog’s 9th Governing Council Meeting along with the state CMs’, LG of UTs and Union Ministers, which was chaired by Shri @narendramodi Ji. Highlighted a few infrastructure issues concerning the development of the State aligning with vision Viksit Bharat @2047.”

During the meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the importance of setting zero poverty targets at the village level, advocating for a personalized approach to poverty alleviation rather than relying solely on broad programmatic measures.
