Northeast Desk, 21st June: In a proactive move to ensure governmental accountability, Kuzholuzo Nienu, Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurances, has announced an Adoption cum Oral Evidence Meeting scheduled for July 2, 2024. The session will convene departmental representatives from the Youth Resources & Sports Department, Home Department, and National Highway (PWD) at 11:00 AM in the Assembly Committee Room.
Nienu aims to facilitate in-depth discussions and scrutiny of government assurances during this pivotal gathering. The meeting is anticipated to focus on practical resolutions and fostering transparency under Nienu’s leadership.
All members of the Committee on Government Assurances have been urged to prioritize attendance, highlighting the significance of their active participation for productive deliberations and the adoption of critical measures.
