Nagaland: DSP Chekrovolu Swuro donated her Archery World Cup Gold Medal
Dimapur: Olympian Archer and Arjuna awardee Chekrovolu Swuro who is currently serving as a Deputy Superintendent of Police, Nagaland donated her Archery World Cup Gold Medal.
Swuro won the medal in Shanghai 2011, to the Nagaland Olympic Association.
She handed over the medal to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio who is also the President of the Nagaland Olympic Association.
It may be mentioned that Chekrovolu Swuro represented India in archery in the 2002 Asian Games and 2006 Asian Games held at Busan, South Korea, and Doha, Qatar, respectively.
