Nagaland Education Secretary Stresses Early Preparation for Exams Under ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’
Kohima: Nagaland’s School Education Department Commissioner and Secretary, Kevileno Angami, has emphasized the importance of early preparation for academic examinations, urging students to approach challenges with a positive mindset.
Speaking at Dr N K Government Higher Secondary School, Kohima, on February 10, as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative, Angami highlighted how exam pressure can be overwhelming but stressed that students must also be prepared to tackle life’s broader challenges.
“We must start preparing ourselves, not just for the exams, but for life. As we move through life, we will face many challenges, obstacles, and problems. But there will always be solutions,” Angami told the students, encouraging them to view difficulties as opportunities for growth. She underscored the role of a positive attitude in overcoming both academic and personal struggles.
Angami praised ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ for creating a platform that allows students to openly discuss exam stress, anxiety, subject choices, and preparation strategies, making it relevant to students across the country. She noted that the live-streamed discussion between PM Modi and students was conducted in schools across Nagaland under the supervision of education department authorities, as per directives from the Directorate of School Education.
With the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) set to conduct the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examinations 2025 from February 11 to March 5, Angami’s message served as timely encouragement for students to stay focused and confident as they approach their exams.
