Nagaland Gears Up For Hornbill Festival

Guwahati: Nagaland is all set to celebrate the 2022 edition of Hornbill Festival.

Preparations for the Hornbill Festival are well under way at the Naga Heritage Village in Kisama which is close to Kohima, Nagaland.

In Nagaland, the Naga Heritage Village at Kisama is around 12 kilometres from Kohima.

After two years of restrained festivities, the famed Hornbill Festival of Nagaland will be held this year with great splendour.

Nagaland will host the festival from December 1 to December 10.

Each year, the Naga tribes get together for the Festival.

The event will be held for the 23rd time this year.

The Hornbill Festival raises the rich and colorful culture of Nagaland and its tribes

There are 18 recognised main tribes in Nagaland.
