Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan Calls on Graduates to Drive India’s Development
Northeast Desk, 22nd July: Nagaland Governor La. Ganesan has called on young graduates to play a crucial role in transforming India into a developed nation by 2047. Addressing the graduation day ceremony at Oriental College, Kohima, Ganesan emphasized that education should extend beyond personal success to contribute to societal betterment.
Ganesan underscored the importance of integrity, honesty, and empathy, urging the graduates to uphold these values amidst ethical challenges. “Your integrity, honesty, and empathy will define you in your personal and professional endeavours,” he said.
Highlighting the significance of hard work and perseverance, Ganesan encouraged the graduates to combine these qualities with empathy and patriotism. “Your actions have the power to impact others, so strive to make positive contributions to your community and nation. Your sense of duty towards your country will be reflected in your actions, whether big or small,” he stated.
As the graduates received their certificates, Ganesan commended their academic achievements and dedication. He expressed optimism that their positive contributions would be instrumental in helping India achieve its development goals by 2047.
