Nagaland Officials Shine in National Federation State Technical Official Examination

Northeast Desk, 18th October: In a moment of pride for Nagaland, two officials from the state, Mhonsao Ngullie and Purna Konyak, secured the top ranks in the National Federation State Technical Official Examination conducted by the Athletic Federation of India (AFI). The results of this prestigious examination were announced on October 16 by the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA).

The examination took place from September 22 to 24, covering multiple locations across India. Notably, Nagaland was chosen as the examination center for the North-Eastern states. Mhonsao Ngullie and Purna Konyak’s impressive performance secured them the Rank 1 position in the examination, a significant achievement that reflects their dedication and expertise.

A total of 17 technical officials from Nagaland Athletics successfully cleared the State Technical Official Examination, marking a historic moment for the state and the athletics community. The NAA expressed its pride and extended its congratulations to all the successful Technical Officials from Nagaland and across India.

The NAA also recognized and appreciated the support and guidance provided by the Athletic Federation of India and the Nagaland Olympic Association, which contributed to the successful organization of the examination.

This achievement not only reflects the competence of Nagaland’s sports officials but also sets a positive tone for the upcoming Nagaland Senior Open Athletics Championships 2023. Scheduled to be held on November 16 and 17 at the IG Stadium, the championship promises to be a noteworthy event for athletes in the state. Athletes interested in participating are encouraged to register for the championship and showcase their skills on the athletic field.
