Nagaland Police Arrest Individual in Delhi for Posting Objectionable Content

Kohima: Nagaland Police have successfully apprehended an individual in Delhi for posting derogatory content on social media, specifically targeting Dr. SC Jamir and Ao women. The offensive remarks were published on “The Patriotic Nagas” Facebook page.

Following a thorough investigation, Nagaland Police identified the individual responsible for the post. The suspect was arrested on November 30, 2024, in Delhi and subsequently brought back to Nagaland, where they are currently in judicial custody.

The police have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, with efforts focused on gathering forensic evidence and expert opinions to support the case.

Authorities have assured that the case will be pursued to its logical conclusion, in strict accordance with relevant legal provisions. In light of the sensitive nature of the issue, Nagaland Police have urged the public to remain calm and uphold peace, emphasizing the importance of law and order in the state.
