Guwahati: Ahead of Elections, a sum of Rs 7,00,000 (seven lakhs) has been seized by Nagaland Police on Saturday.
During a surprise check conducted by the West police station personnel at Ghorapati area of Nagaland, the officials seized the cash.
According to reports, the cash have been seized from one Md Abdul Nasar who is a resident of Burma camp.
Meanwhile, the cash has been transferred to Sr. Treasury Officer Dimapur for further action after being observed in accordance with all essential regulations.
