Nagaland Police to Launch Online Complaint System for Stolen Vehicles and Mobile Phones

Northeast Desk, 23rd July: Nagaland Police announced the introduction of an online submission system for complaints related to stolen vehicles and lost or stolen mobile phones.

In a press release, the police highlighted that the initiative addresses the issue of the public unknowingly purchasing stolen items, emphasizing that a database will be created for the public to access and verify the status of second-hand items before purchasing them. This measure aims to act as a deterrent to theft.

The police urged the public to utilize the online complaint submission system in addition to filing physical complaints at the police station, which are necessary for insurance claims. This dual approach is intended to streamline the process and provide a comprehensive solution for both law enforcement and citizens.
