Nagaland Ready to Shine at 12th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2024 in Bhubaneswar
Northeast Desk, 6th June: Nagaland is preparing to make a significant impact at the 12th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2024, scheduled from June 11 to 13 at the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The state will be represented by a 24-member team, comprising both male and female participants, who will compete in individual sparring across various weight categories and eight artistic events. The delegation will be led by President Khevishe Sema and head coach Deep Kumar, with senior referee Kuhoshe Chishi from the Nagaland Pencak Silat Association providing support.
The team has undergone extensive training to sharpen their skills, aiming to represent Nagaland with pride and determination on the national stage. As they travel to Bhubaneswar, they carry the aspirations and encouragement of their fellow Nagas, striving to excel and bring honor to their state in this esteemed championship.
