Kohima: A moderate earthquake rattled the Chumoukedima district of Nagaland on Thursday afternoon. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported that the seismic event, measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale, struck at 1:22 PM IST.
The quake’s epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers, with its geographic coordinates pinpointed at latitude 25.73 N and longitude 93.95 E.
The NCS shared the details of the earthquake on the social media platform X, providing real-time updates on the seismic activity in the region.
