Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs, a huge consignment of narcotics tablets were seized on Saturday.
Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Narcotics Control Bureau seized the narcotics tablets.
According to reports, the tablets were seized in Mizoram’s capital, Aizawl.
Methamphetamine tablets in the amount of 1.5 lakhs were seized from a vehicle.
The tablets that were confiscated are suspected to be worth Rs. 49,99,50,000 internationally.
However , four persons were arrested in connection with the seizure.
