Guwahati: In a major bust, narcotics worth crores have been seized by Dhalai Police in Tripura.
This was informed by officials on Friday.
Based on specific inputs, Dhalai Police and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) in a joint operation seized the drugs from Dhalai district.
Officials seized as much as four kilograms of heroin along with 10,000 Yaba tablets were seized during the operation.
The entire seizure was estimated to be worth around Rs 4.10 crores.
Moreover, three persons were also arrested in connection with the seizure.
The identities of those are yet to be ascertained.
An investigation in the matter has been initiated and the police will look into every possible angle, officials assured.
