Northeast Desk, 18th May: On the occasion of its 8th Foundation Day, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) expressed heartfelt gratitude and reinforced its commitment to the people of Nagaland. Chingwang Konyak, the President of NDPP, extended warm greetings to the citizens of Nagaland, reflecting on the party’s journey since its inception on May 17, 2017.
Under the guiding principle of “Facta non Verba” (Deeds not Words), Chingwang recounted the remarkable strides made by the party over the past eight years. He attributed these achievements to the relentless dedication and hard work of party members, while also acknowledging the invaluable support of the people of Nagaland as instrumental to their success.
Despite encountering various challenges, including navigating multiple elections and complex political dynamics, NDPP has emerged victorious, firmly establishing its presence in the state’s political arena. Chingwang expressed sincere appreciation to the alliance partner BJP for their unwavering support and shared commitment, underscoring the enduring strength of the alliance.
Furthermore, Chingwang recognized the significant contributions of party members, the Chief Minister, and the NDPP Parliamentary Board in fulfilling the party’s pledges of transparency, accountability, and effective governance. He acknowledged that while the party had achieved notable success, there were ongoing challenges to address and further objectives to pursue.
Through a statement issued by its media & communication committee, NDPP reaffirmed its dedication to serving the people of Nagaland with loyalty, diligence, and integrity. Grounded in democratic principles, the party remains steadfast in its mission to drive positive transformation, prosperity, and progress in the state.
