National Desk, 19th October: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das and Telangana BJP leader Indra Sena Reddy Nallu have been appointed as the Governors of Odisha and Tripura, respectively, as announced by the Rashtrapati Bhavan on October 18.
An official statement from the President’s Secretariat issued on Wednesday confirmed these appointments and mentioned that they would become effective upon the dates they assume office.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu is a national secretary of the BJP and has previously served as an MLA in Andhra Pradesh. Currently, Satyadev Narayan Arya holds the position of the 19th Governor of Tripura, and Indra Sena Reddy Nallu will be taking on this role in his stead. He is a BJP leader hailing from Telangana.
